My name is Karen and I am a professional Integrative Counsellor. I am based in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
I offer individual counselling, face to face or online. I offer my clients a safe and confidential space for you to talk openly and honestly with a view to guiding you to be able to process your thoughts, feelings and emotions, to lead a more positive lifestyle and mindset.
My Story
I have trained for 5 years to become a Therapeutic Counsellor at Tamworth College, qualifying at Level 5. I have been practicing for just over 2 years now. I work as an Integrative Counsellor and have worked with many different issues, including various types of anxiety, loss, trauma and self-harm.
My aim as a counsellor is to give you a safe space to talk about whatever is impacting you and a confidential space. I will work with you to recognise your thoughts and feelings and look at changes to make a healthier, positive lifestyle. I will not advise you what to do but guide you and give you the tools to work with.
As well as my Counselling training, I have also worked as a volunteer at Childline, working with vulnerable young adults and children and participated in various courses, such as, County Line and Drug Awareness, Online telephone counselling and Child criminal exploitation.
